"STEPPING STONES"60" x 68"
Niemeyer Pattern 
The layout for Stepping Stones was designed by Judy and Bradley Niemeyer.  It was designed to teach a simple concept using two strips of fabric to create one very simple and appealing block design.  This pattern includes easy cutting instructions using 2 1/2" by 42" strips, and foundation paper.  This quilt was designed for all skill levels making this a fun and easy quilt for any beginner or advanced quilter to make up in just a few days. Supply list for the class will be available at the shop or our website on April 1st.

Class is FREE with the Purchase of Fabric Kit from BORDERS.
Class without purchase of fabric kit is $25. 
Fabric Kit $125(The kit includes fabric for the quilt top and binding.)

Additional Foundation Papers to increase size of quilt - $18
(One package of extra foundation papers will increase the original quilt size to 86" x 87".
Two addition foundation packages will increase your quilt to 99" x 107".)

BEGINNERS SAMPLER / UNDERGROUND RAILROAD

Take a trip on the Underground Railroad! Learn to quilt while learning the story of the Underground Railroad. Learn how fifteen quilt blocks may have played a significant role in communication between the slaves and how it helped them on their way to freedom.We will be teaching you the basics by hand, and trust me, this class will make you a much better machine quilter.  Emphasizing accuracy and a well rounded basic knowledge of all aspects of quiltmaking while making a twin, full, queen or king sized quilt.

Desert Sky by Judy and Bradley Niemeyer

SKILL LEVEL

Beginner to Advanced 
If you are interested in learning foundation piecing and curved seam piecing while making a beautiful small quilt for the wall - this is the class for you! Bradley and Judy designed the layout for the Desert Sky using a collection of bright and dark fat quarters designed by Island Batik. Our kit is made with a variety of Hoffman batik's. This quilt measures 48" x 54".  Extra foundation papers are available for purchase to enlarge the original pattern should you want a larger quilt.
